Jaipur Must Visit Destinations
  Maharaja Palace

The Maharaja Palace is a museum now. This huge silver pots were used, when one of the former Maharajas was invited to England to see the Empress Victoria. He could not go without the water of the Ganges River. Several of this pots are standing in special room.

  Allbert Hall Mueseum

It is erected in the middle of Ram Niwas Garden of Jaipur . It was built in 1876 to mark the visit of Prince of Wales to the city. The beautiful Indo - sarcenic structure of the Albert designed by Sir Swinton Jacob was opened in 1887 as a public museum. It contains a fine collection of sculptures, paintings, decorative art objects, natural history specimens, an Egyptian mummy and a celebrated Persian Garden Carpet.

  Amer Fort

Amber is a small town, 8.91 km / 5.54 miles from Jaipur. And there is a beautiful fort. It is on the outskirts of Jaipur. It is an awe-inspiring piece of Rajput architecture. On the way to Amber you come across Jal Mahal situated in the middle of a lake. Located up on the hills that surround Jaipur, the fort is sprawled along the Maotha Lake. The most famous thing about this fort are the elephant rides (president Clinton wanted to have one but couldn’t because of security reasons). It is a classic fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture. The fort is adorned with the magnificent, pillared hall of the Diwan - i - Am, and the two - tiered painted gateway Ganesh Pol. The palace of mirrors, Sheesh Mahal has walls inlaid with exquisite mirrors. The Jas Mandir, perched on the upper floor, is a superb amalgam of Mughal and Rajput style of architecture. The reflection of the fort in the Maotha lake is truly breath-taking.
