The desert town
clings to the side of the small but beautiful Pushkar Lake
with its many bathing ghats and temples. Pushkar town is a
maze of narrow streets filled with interest-ing little
shops, food stalls, hotels and temples. Fortunately
there's virtually no traffic in the main bazaar, making it
a pleasurable place to explore at leisure. The town is
very tourist friendly and most people speak English to
some degree, so you'll haveno problem finding your way
around. |
